I love the ability to keep home in Second Life. I love that my husband allows me to decorate our home in which ever way I feel. It's something he knows I enjoy doing, and I think if it weren't for me, he'd be living in a cardboard box. :D Generally, I tend to keep to the same shops, because I know what I like, I know I get good quality, and I know it looks good.

Ever since my first house I bought, I've kept with Funky Junk. This one is no different, I believe this one of Ulaa's older ones, but it's a lovely three room cottage. (oh yeah, I know ya'll were expecting the new Salinas house, weren't ya, weren't ya? :D) First off, I love the pretty green panelling. The porch is spacious, and roomy. It's a little cottage I could totally see smushed into a woody grove, with trees growing all around it.

Dance Like Noone's Watching

Totally enjoying the married life here. Maybe I'll get over my spell of laziness, since at least my hunny likes my blog. Or maybe it's just that gives him a hour or so without me nagging him? Well, he reads it at least.

So, I've totally had my eye on these boots since they came out. I liked them so much, I bought them in two colors. I don't usually go for shoes, mostly wander around barefoot. But these were one of those, "I like them, I want them, I HAVE to have them" kinda buys. As I do enjoy dressing for the changing of the seasons, I can see me wearing them a lot.

We did it!

First of all, my hunny-bunny and I tied the knot at 12 noon SLT, on August19th. Everything was down right perfect. My stayed stable through out the day, and I only crashed once. And he didn't crash at all. Yaaaaay! All of our friends came out to help us celebrate our day. It was just absolutely beautiful.

I think our crashing problems were pushed on to two of our party members, instead. :p

Secondly, I dunno why Lyrical's Closet has fallen to the wayside. I just haven't been really up to posting every single day as I used to. Lots of things have gone on in the past months, and sometimes I'm just not really up to making the outfit, finding poses and scenery, and taking the photos. One of the new things going on, is I've been hired on as an column writer for a new online magazine and radio station. That's taken up a lot of my time.

I've also had my time stole, still, by the KittyCats.

It's almost here!

If I'd been a good little blogger, you'd know I'm getting married August 19th. In a week and half. Oh my gosh! My fiance and I are the King and Queen of procrastination.... we've been engaged for months. Months! And we're just now finalizing the guest lists, the music, getting his tux, getting my dress, finding an officiant, finding an venue, finding a dj, getting the rings! Whoo. We'll make it!

I'd totally post a picture of my dress, but he stalks the blog. He can't see me till noon Sunday the 19th. Wheee!

One Special Boy

So, a while back ago, I had mentioned I had gotten into KittyCatS. And I started breeding them. And, I bought some lovely kitties. And bred some pretty kitten. And... and... I got my first seven traited cat!

So, that's like my rather lame and lazy post.

Fictional Characters Challenge-- Artemis

I decided to do Harper Ganesvoort's fictional character challenge. I chose Artemis, the Greek goddess of the hunt, from Sherrilyn Kenyon's Dark-Hunter novels. I love how Sherri portrays the goddess in a very human light. Artemis is not a good character in the books, she's selfish and cruel, especially to Acheron. She loves him, but the feelings scare her, and so she abuses him. She created the Dark-Hunters to tie Acheron to her for all eternity.

Quite proud and vain, Artemis is known for her red hair and green eyes.

Lyrical goes to Hogwarts!

This sim is one of the hottest sims right now. Mostly because, it's Harry Potter and it's all mesh. It is a rp sim, although no rp is going on right now. The sim is open to the public till the 13th, so you better hurry on over! I grew up with Harry and friends, so seeing Harry Potter stuff is kinda nostalgic. (I'm still waiting on my letter, Hogwarts!) Of course, Lyrical had to go see Hogwarts. Unfortunately, no Hogwarts uniform for her!
